Following more than a week of outrage over the search for a new president at Chicago State University, 13 of the 15 members of an advisory committee set up to help pick a new leader resigned in protest Friday. In a letter to the board of trustees, the protesting members said “we feel it would be inappropriate to legitimize a less than transparent or participatory process by recommending either of the two finalists.’
